Pit Toilets

We are proud to announce the installation of 24 new and 8 refurbished flush toilets at Vhulakanjhani Primary School in Nkambako Village, Limpopo. After years of using pit toilets, students and staff now benefit from safer and more dignified facilities.

This project was made possible by Breadline Africa’s “Eradication of Pit Toilets” initiative, with construction completed by Envirosan Sanitary Solutions. We thank all partners for their dedication to improving the lives of learners and look forward to more impactful collaborations.

Book Dash Distributor

We’re thrilled to announce our partnership with Book Dash, a nonprofit dedicated to ensuring every child owns 100 books by the age of five. Our first shipment of 1,500 books has arrived and has been distributed to children in 13 creches across Nkambako and Nwamitwa.

For many, this was their first book to call their own, with their names proudly written inside. The joy on their faces is a powerful reminder of the impact a single book can have on a child’s life.

Inani Startwell Project

Empowering Children’s Health in Letsitele

From July 2024 to June 2025, the Atterbury Trust, in partnership with the Startwell Factory, is dedicated to providing essential nutrition to 500 children in Letsitele. This initiative aims to combat malnutrition and enhance the overall health of children in the region.

Targeted Nutritional Support

Children identified as being at risk of stunting will receive an additional nutritional shake to support their growth and development. Our data-driven approach ensures that interventions are tailored to meet the specific needs of each child.

Collaborative Oversight

The Atterbury Trust and the Startwell Foundation will oversee the project, while the ClemenGold Foundation will conduct monthly monitoring to track progress and provide feedback. This ensures the program effectively addresses malnutrition in the community.

Corporate Partnership and Expansion Goals

This project is made possible by the generous support of our corporate partners, WeBuyCars and OUTsurance. Their contributions are crucial as we aim to expand this initiative to reach 2,000 children, creating a significant impact in Limpopo.

Community Commitment

Our efforts are particularly focused on the Nkambako and N’wamitwa villages, where we have strong community ties. We are committed to making a lasting difference in these areas and deeply appreciate the ongoing support from all involved.
